Supported Platforms
Download media from 20+ platforms. All processing is temporary — your links are never saved permanently.
How It Works
Three simple steps to download media from any supported platform.
Paste a Public URL
Copy a link to a publicly accessible video, audio clip, or image from any supported platform and paste it into the input field above.
Choose Quality
MediaGrab detects the platform, fetches available formats, and lets you choose your preferred video resolution or audio quality.
Download
Click download and the file is processed temporarily on our server, then streamed directly to your device. Nothing is stored permanently.
Your Privacy Matters
MediaGrab is built with privacy as a core architectural requirement.
No User Accounts
No registration, no login, no personal data collection. Just paste a URL and download.
Transient Processing
Media files are processed temporarily and deleted immediately after download. Nothing is stored on our servers.
Local History Only
Your download history stays in your browser's local storage. We never receive or store it.
Open Source
MediaGrab is open source. You can inspect the code and verify our privacy claims yourself.
Common Issues
Quick solutions for the most frequently encountered problems.
Download Failed
The content may be private, deleted, or temporarily rate-limited by the platform. Verify the URL is public and try again after a moment.
Server Unavailable
The processing server may be restarting or under heavy load. Please wait a minute and try again.
No Formats Available
Some content types (stories, live streams, DRM-protected media) are not supported. Only public, non-protected media can be downloaded.
Slow Download
Higher quality files are larger and take longer. Try a lower resolution, or try again during off-peak hours.
